The objectives of the foundation are to be attained through the following purposes, among others:

• translations of Buddhist writings
• tuition and support for future translators
• training of qualified translators and scholars
• subsidies for secretarial assistance
• contributions towards printing costs
• grant of letters of indemnity for printing work
• Buddhist orders of nuns
• conferences and lecture events
• travel expenses for conference participants
